Great service and excellent 해물순두부찌개 (spicy soft tofu stew with seafood). Dumplings are ok but more like gyoza vs mandu. Still quite tasty. The place decor is simple and the food portions adequate. Minus one star only because I like a lot of banchan side dishes and they only give two (one being the kimchi, which was ok).

This is definitely the best Korean restaurant I have been to. The service and menu options are great. Very pleasant staff and delicious food (we got vegetable dumplings, bibimbap, and sweet&spicy chicken bites). I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

Had a great experience here with my friends. Staff were very friendly to us and attentive. Very clean interior with a nice mural on the walls. They have a large flatscreen TV playing a Kpop playlist. Service was also very fast; we got served all of our food in probably less than 10 minutes.As for the food itself, everything was amazing. Especially the Korean Fried Chicken; super crispy, flavourful, and delicious. Totally worth the price. The other dishes also taste fresh and authentic.When it comes to pricing, things can get a little pricy (Full size chicken = $30). However, the portion sizes are huge and you can easily split any dish with multiple people and spend less than $10 per person.

What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in food and service. The menu is very descriptive and the very friendly staff is eager to help with any questions. The bibimbap was as good as I’ve had and much better than most. There is a very great variety of ingredients. Many places load the bowl up with rice. The fried dumpling and Korean sushi roll appetizers were delicious. Every patron is loudly and warmly greeted by the staff when you enter the restaurant. The same courtesy is extended when you leave. A GREAT ADDITION TO THE KINGSTON RESTAURANT SCENE.

Best choice for Korean food in Kingston. Offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. Very nice and friendly staff. Alcohol can be purchased including Soju.

Great authentic Korean food at a reasonable price. Love this place. Trust me I’ve been to Korea dozens of times this place is amazing! I just got takeout $55 and enough to feed 4 or more .... the students have gone home so quieter than usual until the tourists start arriving, please support them meanwhile, we don’t want to lose this one, not enough good authentic restaurants in Kingston, they soon become Canadianised dare I say! LolForget the decor, it’s downtown Kingston not “Korea town” in Toronto or Ottawa, it’s the food that counts, ambiance can come later ...

Man their Sweet and spicy fried chicken was soooooo good. I'd like to know what kind of sauce they used. I think its gochujang?

Best Korean restaurant I have been to in my life. The food was excellent. Service was good and the staff courteous and kind. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Kingston and I will likely be going back to try out a few more dishes as well as there seasoned Korean fried chicken.

Absolutely delicious & the service was great!!! Had the bi bim bap in the hot stone bowl and it was perfection, especially on a cold winter night! Highly recommend.

Crispy wings which are oven roasted rather than fried Great chicken soup (with ginseng I recall) and spicy noodle stews great on a cold wet day

We had the spicy pork, beef hot plate, veggie bibimbap. All three were absolutely wonderful. I'd eat the spicy pork again and again. Great ambiance, quick and helpful service, and again - incredible food. We'll be back for sure.

Great friendly service, good authentic good. Only loses a star for the prices but don't let that stop you. It's worth it.

Was pleased to finally find another option for Korean food in Kingston other than Podonamu. It has a nice homey atmosphere and the food has a "mom's cooking" taste to it. The pricing is fair for Kingston, and the service was nice. Definitely coming back here to try more of their food.

If you want authenticity, this is the place for it.

One of my favourite restaurants in Kingston. The lunch special is an AMAZING deal; so much food for only $12. I will never get tired of the beef bulgogi!

First time trying out some Korean food and was not dissapointed. The flavours were very well put together and kept me wanting more. Amazing homemade kimchi and pickled radish that that came as sides. Will definitely be going again.

Food was very tasty and the staff was super friendly. I will most certainly be going again soon to try more dishes.

Great option for a korean restaurant! Very welcoming when you first walk in they greet you with smiles, and a hello in their language! Very delicious, many food options to choose from, I had their fried chicken, it was amazing, seasoned, flavourful! Servers we're attentive, polite and get you what you need as soon as they can! Overall a great experience, when you leave you receive a genuine thank you in korean language and I would definitely recommend it!

The food is amazing but the atmosphere was not good. I got the korean season fried chicken which was the best chicken I have ever tasted. There was a woman who seems like the owner who kept "checking" on all the tables. At first it seemed nice, but became extremely disruptive and frustrating.

I feel like there are better Korean options just down the street, though this location has better hours. Perhaps one of the last downtown establishments not to have tap/contactless on their card machines though.

This place is great. The staff are very friendly, and the food is loaded with authentic flavours. If you’re looking for a bibimbap, bulgogi or other Korean dish, try this place. I recommend the spicy squid. So tasty!

Food was great! Portions were huge. I find that the sauce and the meal was a bit salty but very well done Korean food regardless. Great servcies and our meals were served fast.

Much better than my expectation. Dongatsu was made out fresh. home made sauce was delicious! Beef gim bop made out warm and fresh ingredients! My kids love to eat Jjaang myun also. If we have a chance to go to Kingston we definitely going to gang nam style again!!

Do not let the humble appearance of this restaurant fool you! It is surely packed with a punch.I was craving some Korean food while visiting Kingston and I am glad I gave this place a try. I ordered spicy tofu soup and pork cutlet to share. First of all, the tastes were amazing and secondly, the portions were huge! My friend and I both agreed that this place was far better than some of the Korean restaurants in Toronto.Service was quick and friendly and we definitely felt welcomed until we left.I'm glad to see a Korean restaurant in a small town trying to be authentic and honest without much competition. If you're in the area looking for Korean food, I highly recommend this place!

Went with friends and ordered gam ja tang and fried chicken. The soup was okay but tasted like it was missing something. The chicken was okay too, it could've been crispier but the flavor wasn't bad. They have a fairly wide selection of food and the servers are nice. However, we felt that the wait time was a bit long. There was also no AC.

Second time coming to Gangnam style, first time was okay this time was significantly better. Had the soondubu stew with seafood, the portion was good and had a good amount of seafood. The kimchi is a little salty and had a pronounced spicy flavor which went well with the soup. Also had the soy sauce and sweet and spicy fried chickens. Got the half and half, the serving size is very underwhelming it was like 6 pieces per “half” despite this I would get it again because the sauces were really nice and the chicken itself was juicy and soft, with a really crunchy outside. The staff at the restaurant were very nice and attentive, especially the one dude with the glasses. Staff interaction made the overall experience better.

Had a group of 9, everyone liked their meal. I had the bulgolgi? pot, very tasty, very hot. Flavours of Soju, the apple was quite tasty. Service was excellent! Prices are pretty decent as well. Oh, and the boneless chicken was FANTASTIC!

Delicious food, amazing service, sweet owner! Had gamja tang, spicy chicken, spicy squid. I like that they gave more side dishes and hot water for tea. So nice!!

Had the spicy pork, spicy squid, and seafood noodles. The pork is probably my favourite thing I've eaten in Kingston and the broth for the noodles was incredible! I did find the squid to be a bit tough for my taste, but the flavour was amazing. It is a very clean restaurant and the service was awesome- quality checked, refilled drinks, prompt service when needed, but left you alone to enjoy your meal. Looking forward to my next trip!

This is as authentic as it gets and like in real Gang Nam district food in Seoul KoreaNot fancy, not expensive, and very friendly staffs. The food is amazing (if you like spicy). Portions were large. The servers speak really good English. This is the place to take your friends and impress them. Wonderful vegetable stew pot that was perfect for the early spring night in Kingston. You would walk by the place many times and never realize what was behind the door.

Always love coming here everytime I'm in town! Best korean food, great quality and fast service! I had already eating about half my chicken by this picture so the portions are very nice as well. I honestly suggest trying everything here, because it is ALL delicious!
